UPDATE: KSP says teen will face charges in connection with Thursday high-speed chase and crash

chase wreckKentucky State Police say a 16-year-old female remains at the University of Tennessee Medical Center where she was airlifted when her Mercedes SUV ran head-on into a coal truck Thursday, and she will face criminal charges in Knox District Court.

Trooper Shane Jacobs, public affairs officer at KSP Post 10 in Harlan, said the teen is no longer in critical condition.
