Williamsburg police are asking for the public’s help in locating two local residents wanted in connection with felony charges out of Ohio, but say they have unconfirmed reports that the two may have already turned themselves in to Ohio authorities.

Brothers Matthew J. Taylor, 28, and Jonathan Taylor, 29, are wanted by the Warren County Sheriff’s Department in Dayton, Ohio, for aggravated trafficking in drugs and permitting drug abuse, said Williamsburg Public Affairs Officer Shawn Jackson.
Jackson said the two suspects reside at 4925 Louden Road, have family in Whitley County, and work at a family business here.

Chief Wayne Bird said that the two men were in contact with local police last week and were supposed to have turned themselves in here by 4 p.m. Friday, but that they didn’t do so.

Jackson said police received calls from family members of the two men reporting that they were in Ohio Monday trying to turn themselves in to authorities, but he said Tuesday morning that those reports haven’t been confirmed yet.

Anyone having information about the brothers’ whereabouts are asked to contact the Williamsburg Police Department at 549-6017 or 549-6087.
