Whitley Sheriff’s Department asking for help locating missing woman

The Whitley County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s help in finding a woman who has been missing since earlier this week.

A Golden Alert was issued Wednesday for Amanda Jean Campbell, 37, who also goes by the nickname “Moonpie.” Campbell has known mental and physical disabilities and was last seen Monday on foot possibly in the Parkers Lake community of McCreary County. She was last wearing a yellow t-shirt with a graphic from the popular ‘70s television series “M*A*S*H” and black pants.

Anyone with information about Campbell’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Whitley County Sheriff’s Department via dispatch by calling (606) 549-6017.
