To the Editor:
Me and my Emlyn buddy Donnie Witt have some interesting dreams and several of them center around the Ten Commandments. Donnie’s grandpa and my grandpa both told us years ago when we wuz small lads there are some who believe there were actually eleven commandments Moses brought down from the mountain. When Moses went up on the mountain to bring down the stone with the Ten Commandments he fell on the way down and the stone broke and a piece rolled into a huge crevice and Moses couldn’t find it. He struggled and got down the mountain and presented the ten instead of eleven commandments.
Donnie and me recently had similar dreams that found us as small shepherd boys dressed in robes and sandals on top the mountain and we wuz searching to see if there was another piece of the stone. Donnie and me run into all kinds of trouble getting down the mountain. We run thru the briars and run thru the brambles and run thru the bushes where a possum couldn’t go. Finally, we saw the piece of stone in water in a crevice and crawled in and got it as we had to fight off snakes.
When we cleaned it off in the grass we excitedly read the words, “Eleventh Commandment, “Thou shat Not Vote For Donald Trump.” God was truly a wise leader with a great vision! Halleluiah!
