Helen (Jones) Huddleston

Helen (Jones) Huddleston, age 85, of Eagan, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born October 16, 1938, in Clairfield, Tennessee. Helen loved babysitting, quilting, cooking and her specialty was peanut butter log roll, traveling with family and friends, crocheting and doing word search. She loved God and her family very much.
Helen is preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Huddleston; seven infants; father, Rev. Robert “Bob” Jones; mother, Cora Lee (Hamblin) Jones; brothers, Donnie Lee Jones, and Billy Ray Jones; sister, Norma Jean Popp; nieces, Joann (Jones) Schofield, Neita (Jones) Ward, and Karen (Partin) Duncan; brothers-in-law, George “Pebo” Partin, Alvin Popp, Allen Powers, and Charles Dupree; and sister-in-law, Joan Jones.
She is survived by brothers, David Jones and wife Carolyn, Sammy Jones and wife Carolyn; sisters, Sally Ruth Powers, Bertha Dupree; sister-in-law, Charlene Jones; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn her passing.
Special thanks to Suncrest Hospice, especially Andrew and April, and her caretakers Ellen Hamblin, Patty Taylor and Mary Hatfield.
We the Jones family want to thank our precious sister Sally Ruth (Jones) Powers for all her love and dedication on taking such wonderful care of our loving sister Helen, we love you so much. Helen is now cured from her battle with Alzheimer’s disease.
The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. Saturday, August 24, at the Midway Baptist Church with funeral services starting at 11 am with Rev. Ewell Meyers and Johnny Powers officiating. Her nephew will be reading the obituary
Special singers will be Tina Allen, Kim Brewer, Spencer Genson, Darlene Pruitt
Burial will follow in the Hamblin Cemetery
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Midway Baptist Church or Suncrest Hospice.
