Freddy Wayne Lay

Freddy Wayne Lay, age 53, of Jellico, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at his home. He was born July 29, 1971, in Corbin, Kentucky.
Freddy is preceded in death by his father, Fred Lay; mother, Lillie (Powers) Lay Cox; and stepson, Joshua Bowlin.
He is survived by his wife, Glenna (Tucker) Lay; children, Travis Lay, Dartanyan “David” Lay, and Azalea Nikki O’Hara; stepdaughter, Jessica McNealy and husband Nathan; sisters, Betty Hicks and husband Jeff, Eva Perkins and late husband Allen, Lisa Day and husband Donald, Kathy Simpkins, Deborah Combs and husband James, and Stacey Lay; grandchildren, Peyton O’Hara, Hayden O’Hara, Phoenix O’Hara, and Avery Lay; step-grandchildren, Jacob Bowlin, Jase Bowlin, McKenzie Bowlin, Rylan and Tucker McNealy; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn his passing.
Funeral service was Thursday, September 12, at the Harp Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Earl Powers and Rev. Randy Bargo officiating.
Burial was Friday, September 13, in the Douglas Cemetery, in the Wooldridge community.
