John Floyd Crawford

John Floyd Crawford, age 87, passed away peacefully December 17, 2024, at his home in Jellico, Tennessee.
John was born December 6, 1937, in Whitley County Kentucky. He spent his life in medical care working for the old Jellico Hospital (Dr. Charles Prater) and Wilkens Medical Group (Dr. Charles Wilkens).
John was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Anna (Fredericks) Crawford; brothers, Harold, Jim, OC, Bill, and twin brother, Jack; sisters, Bessie Crawford Richardson, Joan Crawford Smith, Flora Lou Crawford Bray, and Virginia Carol Crawford Hale.
John is survived by his wife of 62 years, Elsie Bates Crawford; son, John Glenn Crawford; and granddaughters, Hannah Caroline and husband Michael Aruda and Johnna Christine; and great-granddaughter Darci Maria Aruda; daughter, Cynthia Ann Crawford Norrod; and grandson, Stephen Ray Norrod; and granddaughter Savanna Beth Norrod; former son-in-law, Steve Norrod; two very loved step-grandchildren, Tausha (aka Stephanie) Norrod Grady; and grandson, Bryan Lee Norrod; two great-granddaughters, Louella and Cora Grady.
Visitation for John was Saturday, December 21, at the Llewellyn Funeral Home Chapel. To honor John’s wishes he will be cremated.
