On Feb. 14, Corbin Mayor Suzie Razmus signed a proclamation at Baptist Health Corbin proclaiming the month of February as Corbin’s Heart Health Month. Hospital personnel joined Razmus at the signing, including BHC President Angelia Foster. February is recognized as Heart Health Awareness Month, with heart disease remaining as the leading cause of death worldwide. The City of Corbin and BHC encourages all residents to take proactive steps to improve heart health through education, awareness and community engagement.
