Kentucky Transportation Cabinet announces I-75, KY-1064 road work on Tuesday (March 25)

If you plan on driving on either I-75 near mile point 20 in Whitley County or on KY-1064 in Whitley County on Tuesday (March 25), then be forewarned that road construction is planned.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that a right lane closure (slow lane) will occur on I-75 southbound at mile point 20 in Whitley County on Tuesday from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. due to maintenance operations.

KYTC also advises motorists that a section of KY-1064 in Whitley County from mile point 0.410 (Monhollen Drive) to mile point 1.112 (Wash Place Road) will be closed to through traffic beginning Tuesday at 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. due to cross drain operations.

KYTC asks motorists to be aware of the work zones, expect significant delays, and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the area.

The date, time, and duration of work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.
