Storm debris removal operations to begin Monday (March 31) on I-75 in Whitley County

Date:

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that storm debris removal operations will occur on I-75 northbound (mile points 19-28) in Whitley County beginning Monday, March 31, until Friday, April 4.

Weather permitting, lane closures will take place daily from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The closure is necessary for removal of debris from recent storms.

KYTC asks motorists to be aware of the work zone, expect significant delays, and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the area.

The date, time, and duration of work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur. Motorists can access travel and traffic conditions at http://goky.ky.gov or contribute their reports at www.waze.com or via the Waze mobile application.
