Corbin man arrested for Indiana vehicle theft

On Friday December 04, 2009 at 11:38 PM the Kentucky State Police, Post 11, London responded to a residence on north 6th street in Williamsburg, KY in reference to a subject wanted for auto theft out of Hamilton County Indiana.

Upon arrival Trooper Leslie Moses located James Dean Simpson, 46, of a Corbin address and verified that Simpson was indeed wanted in Indiana. Simpson was arrested and lodged in the Whitley County Detention Center on the charge of Fugitive from another state.

While at the residence Trooper Moses discovered a vehicle that was reported stolen out of Meriwether County Georgia. Trooper Moses recovered a blue 2004, Dodge, 4 Door, 4×4 Ram 2500 valued at $20,000.00.

Trooper Moses is continuing the investigation and was assisted by officers from the KSP Division of Commercial Vehicle Enforcement and the Williamsburg Police Department
