Letters to the Editor for 5-27-09

To the Editor:

On behalf of the Video Production’s class at Whitley County High School, I would like to extend my appreciation to all volunteers, civic leaders, emergency personnel, and Whitley County High School faculty and staff for working with my class to complete a powerful message about the dangers of driving under the influence.

Each year the media students develop a realistic storyline about the social aspects of a typical after prom party.

In order for the students to act and film the story, we depend on many different local organizations.

The end product is a video which is shown to the entire student body.  This is a very powerful component in the campaign at Whitley County High School designed to prevent potential automobile accidents.

This campaign would not be possible without the willingness and support of our amazing community.
Thank you for your effort, time, and endless dedication to my students at Whitley County High School.
