Ex-Knox school board member facing perjury charge

A former Knox County School Board chairman indicted by the Knox County Grand Jury appeared in Knox District Court Tuesday for his arraignment.

Dexter Smith was officially charged with a Class A misdemeanor second degree perjury charge by the Grand Jury.
