Blaze did not kill man found dead in Woodbine house fire

fatal-fire — Officials have determined that Dennis Barton, 62, who was found dead inside his burned home on Sept. 27, died of natural causes.

State police arson investigators are still working to determine what sparked the fire last Tuesday at a residence on Ky. 26 in Woodbine, but Whitley County Coroner Andy Croley said it was not the fire that proved fatal for the resident, tentatively identified as 62-year-old Dennis Barton.
