Euelene Marcella Powell, 80, of Corbin, passed away on Friday October 21, 2016 at the Christian Health Care Center in Corbin.
She was born in Bald Rock, Kentucky to the late Jessie Poynter and Dorothy Rose Wells. She was Baptist by faith and was a retired Waitress.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Roy Rose and J.C. Jenkins.
Euelene is survived by her children, Wayne Smith (Angela) of Bowling Green, and Debbie Daniels (Larry) of Corbin; grandchildren; Larry Travis Daniels (Amye), Casey Daniels (Dee), Shantana Daniels, Kashawna Daniels, Torrie Smith, Eric Smith, Sarah Vergara (Vic), Levi Williams; Sister, Jacqueline Dotson; Brother, Charles Wells (Zora); great grandchildren, Rebekah, Eli, Hunter, Cadence, and Carson; and by a host of nieces including special niece who was like a daughter, Donna Rutherford.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, October 25, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Joe Eaton and Rev. Jimmy Rarrieck officiating.
Burial followed in Rest Haven Cemetery in Corbin. Pall bearers were Eric Smith, Travis Daniels, Casey Daniels, Shawn Henderson, Levi Williams and Olis Rutherford.
