arlene-childersArlene Bingham Childers, 73, of Corbin, passed from this life on Friday, October 21, 2016, at her beloved Steele’s Chapel Christian Church.

A Corbin native, she was preceded in death by her parents, Lake and Ura Bingham, and a brother, Michael Bingham.

Arlene is survived by her husband, Ralph Childers; sons: Kent Childers and wife Lori, Todd Childers and wife Millie, Kyle Childers and wife Sharon; grandchildren: Ben, Will, Katherine, Sarah, Riley and Isaiah Childers; brother: Gary Bingham and wife Jeanette; a very special niece Melissa Bingham Brimm, as well as many other nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

The funeral was held Tuesday at the Steele’s Chapel Christian Church on Fifth Street Road.  Burial was in the Worley Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Ben and Will Childers, Kenneth Brimm, Billy and Tim Bingham, and George Bates.

Memorials are suggested to Steele’s Chapel Christian Church.

Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home is assisting the Childers family with arrangements.
