Herman M. Wells

Herman M. Wells, 84, of Williamsburg, OH, passed away on Tuesday afternoon, Feb 14, 2017, at Hospice of Cincinnati.

He was the uncle of Vicki Sawyers, Rockholds, and Gaylon Sawyers, Dallas TX.

Born in a log house at Maple Creek in Whitley County, he was the son of the late Clorida Wells and Annie Beavers Wells. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Oliver Wells; three sisters, Ethel Wells Sawyers, Mae Wells Cupp and Vernia Wells and nephew Daryl Sawyers.

He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.

He is survived by his children, Donald (Susan) Wells, Connie (Jasper) Frith and Steven Wells all of Ohio; eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services were held at the Evans Funeral Home, 1944 State Route 28, Goshen, OH on Saturday, February 18th.

Burial followed at Graceland Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati, Inc.
