Lee Roy Harrell, 70, of Lexington passed away Thursday, March 2, 2017, at the University of Kentucky Hospital.

Born February 24, 1947, in Corbin, he was the son of the late Shiloh and Dorothy Harrell.

He was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church and a veteran of the United States Army.  A member of the Teamsters Union, he was a realtor and worked last for RE/MAX Realty Company.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Raymond Harrell and Sammy Don Harrell.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Louise S. Harrell; daughter. Tonya Louise Neal; sister, Penny Dee West; two special cousins: Colan Harrell and Danny Harrell; and a special sister-in-law, Anna Harrell; sister-in-law, Diane Harrell along with other relatives and numerous friends to mourn his passing.

Funeral services were held Monday, March 6, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bobby Joe Eaton and Bro. Herschel Walker officiating.

Burial followed in Corinth Cemetery with full military honors by the D.A.V. Chapter 158.

No visitation will be held.

Hart Funeral Home located at 1011 Master Street in Corbin is handling all arrangements.
