Inezes Powell

Inezes Powell, 85, of Corbin, passed away on Saturday March 4, 2017 at Baptist Health in Corbin.

She was born in Knox County to the late Thomas L. King and Rhueamy Warren King, and was a member of Cornerstone Church.

In addition to her parents, Inezes was preceded in death by her husband, Thermon Powell; children, Joe Powell and Barbara Powell Jasper.

She is survived by her daughter, Alice Hall; grandsons, Steven Powell and Joseph Matthew Hall; great grandchildren; Tyler Hall, Ashtlyn Hall, Josiah Hall and Asher Hall; sister, Ingrid Bland.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday March 8, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Dr. Bill Hudson officiating.

Burial will follow in the Corinth Cemetery in Corbin.

Visitation will be on Wednesday from 12 noon until 2 p.m. at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home where messages may be written to the family at www.vankirkgrisellfuneralhome.com.
