Larry Clayton Fox, 62, of Hazard, formerly of Corbin went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington surrounded by his family.

He was born on March 23, 1954 in Corbin, to the late Frankey Fox and Myrtle (Napier) Fox.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Dillard Alsip and a sister, Maxine Alsip.
Larry was a member of Woodbine Baptist Church; he received his Industrial Electrical Engineering degree from HTCT and was a retired coal miner.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda (Nantz) Fox of Hazard; two daughters, Laura Combs (Dennis) of Crestwood, and Casey Fox (fiancé, Chris Gibson) of Berea; six grandchildren, Harley Combs, Dalton Bowling, Logan Ramirez, Shea Ramirez, Christina Gibson and Kadan Gibson; mother, Myrtle Fox of Woodbine; four sisters, Mandy Sharp of Corbin, Christie Lambert (Clay) of Corbin, Caroline Johnson (Roy) of Keavy, and Nadine Perkins (Roy) of Williamsburg; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until the funeral hour on Wednesday, March 22, at Croley Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday, March 22, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Seals officiating.

He will be laid to rest in the Corn Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
