Johnie Edward Creech, Jr., 66, passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2017, at Baptist Health Corbin.
Born in Norton, VA, he was the son of the late Johnie Edward Creech and Anna Cantrell. He was also preceded in death by a sister Cathy.
Johnie was Baptist by faith, and was a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Vietnam era.
He is survived by his wife Cleda Steele Creech; children: Shawna Bell (Brian), Kenneth Long (Tressa), and Diana Bunton; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and brother Dennis Creech (Karen), all who mourn his passing.
The funeral service was held Saturday, April 15, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Mayle officiating.
Burial was in the Gray Cemetery with military honors by American Legion Post 88.
