Robert Homer Tye, 38, of Joe Young Road, Corbin, departed this life on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at UT Medical Center in Knoxville, TN.
He was born on October 3, 1978 in Corbin, to the late Royal Homer Tye and Cleo Gray Tye.
He was preceded in death by his father Royal “Rabbit” Tye; and sister, Lisa Ann Tye.
He is survived by his mother, Cleo Gray Tye of Corbin; brother, Speed Marcum Tye (Loretta) of Woodbine; nieces and nephews, Ashley Stephens, Amber Renfro, Speed Tye, and Zach Tye; special friends, Chris Bunch of Corbin and Kevin Smiddy of Keavy; aunts, uncles, and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 19, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Billy Joe Taylor officiating.
Following the service he will be laid to rest in the Cox Cemetery in Grays, Kentucky
