Mary Marjorie “Margie” Jones, 91, of Hwy 511 Buffalo, departed this life on Tuesday, July 4, 2017, at The Prairie Lakes Health Care Center, Fishers, IN.

She was born on April 4, 1926 in Rockholds, to the late Rev. Claude A. Harp and the late Vina (Taylor) Harp.

She was also preceded in death by her husband Arnold Jones; two sons, Johnny A. Jones and Kyle D. Jones and a brother, John A. Harp.

She is survived by her two sons, Lonnie R. (Rena) Jones of Noblesville, IN and Chuck L. (Bobbi) Jones of Waterford, MI; a sister Ollie Miller of Hamilton, OH; two sister-in-laws Margaret Jones of Buffalo, KY and Lois Jones of Lexington, KY; seven grandchildren, Mark (Robin) Jones, Jennifer (Dan) Rogers, Brad (Sharon Liu) Jones, Todd (Sally) Jones, Gretchen (Tom) Dorsey, Jason Jones, Stacey (Patrick) Irwin; twelve great grandchildren, Brooke Jones, Brianna Jones, Ryan Jones, Riley Jones, Abby Jones, Julia Jones, Reid Rogers, Kyle Rogers, Ashlyn Dorsey, Piper Dorsey, Will Irwin, Mackenzie Irwin and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

The funeral service was held Saturday, July 8, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Vernon Jones officiating.

She was laid to rest in the Slusher Cemetery on Tidal Wave Road, in Rockholds, KY.

Mark Jones, Todd Jones, Jason Jones, Tom Dorsey, Dan Rogers and Patrick Irwin served as pallbearers.
