Josephine R. Johnson, 86, of Corbin, passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2017, at Baptist Health Corbin.
Born in Corbin, she was a member of Dorthae Pentecostal Church and was retired from American Greetings. She enjoyed cooking, planting flowers, and spending time with her husband.
Josephine was preceded in death by her husband Ernest Estil Johnson in 2009, mother Eunice Robinson, and sister Lorene Hodge.
She is survived her sons: Robert Johnson and wife Jeannie of Corbin, Glen Johnson and wife Connie of Nicholasville, and Ronald Johnson and wife Carolyn of Corbin; grandchildren: Christie VanNorstran, Heather Michelle Johnson, Rebecca Engle, Kimberly Clark, Pamela Taylor and Terry Dean Fields; great-grandchildren: Skyler Taylor, Shaylee Brooke Taylor, Haley Fields, Brianna Fields, Kendall Clark, Carolyn Clark, Syndey VanNorstran, Ryan VanNorstran, Caleb VanNorstran, Alyson Engle, and Hadley Simone Johnson; and by numerous friends.
Funeral services were held Friday, August 25, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
Burial followed in the Felts Chapel Cemetery.
