Ray D. Croley, 79, of the Savoy Community, Williamsburg, passed away Thursday December 7, 2017 at his home.

He was born November 1, 1938 in Whitley County, to the late William A. Croley Sr. and Ida Bennett Croley.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by nine brothers and two sisters.

He was owner and operator of the Shell Service Station in the Savoy Community.

He was a member of Calvary Masonic Lodge in Cincinnati, OH.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years Wilma Taylor Croley; daughter, Carla Elam (David) of Austin, TX; son, Michael R. Croley of Williamsburg; four grandchildren Nash Croley, Taylor Rawlings, Rebecca Rawlings and Grace Rawlings, great grandson; Parker Ray Croley; two sisters; Galena Coffey (Kermit) of Williamsburg, Faye Eaton (Jim) of Mason, OH, several nieces and nephews and host of relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

The funeral service was held Sunday, December 10, at Ellison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Donnie Bruce Patrick and Rev. Lester Cox officiating.

Interment was in the Ida Bennett Croley Cemetery.
