Harold (Frostie) Jackson was born on April 14, 1941, and departed from this life on Saturday, June 14, 2025.
He retired from the coal mine industry and RC Bottling plant in Williamsburg, Kentucky.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Perry Jackson and Opal Mills Jackson; Peggy Muntz, the mother of his children; daughter, Robin Shipwash; son, Kevin Jackson; two brothers, Dallas Jackson and Tilman Jackson; and two sisters, Estella Osborne and Esther Dezarn; wife, Thelma Smith Jackson; wife, Wanda Rose Jackson; two stepchildren, Billy Rose and Jeffery Rose.
Harold is survived by ten brothers, Arlie (Ann) Jackson of Pontiac, Michigan, Edward Jackson, London, Kentucky, Marvin (Donna) Jackson, Taulman (Eudeana) Jackson, Paul (Patricia) Jackson, Albert (Danielle) Jackson, and Carl Jackson, all of Rockholds, Kentucky, Walter (Pat) Jackson of Georgetown, Kentucky, Loyd (Debra) Jackson of Williamsburg, and Cecil Jackson. He is survived by three sisters, Margaret (Ted) Smith, Rita (Kevin) Fairchild, and Brenda (Bill) Bugg,
Harold is also survived by stepchildren, Michael (Lisa Potter-Smith) Smith, Williamsburg, Kentucky, Teresa Davis, Georgetown, Kentucky, Marie (Dewey) Carr, Williamsburg, Kentucky, Salatha (Rick) Woodruff, Louisville, Kentucky; six grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn his passing.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, June 17, at Slusher Cemetery with Brother Dan Frost, officiating and Andrew Jackson reading the obituary.
The Llewellyn Funeral Home of Jellico in charge of arrangements.
