Historical and Genealogical Society receives check for repairs from Community Trust Bank

Date:

A $1,500 check from Community Trust Bank was recently received to help put a new roof on the old railroad depot. The bank challenges other businesses and individuals, who are interested in the preservation of historic sites and buildings, to join them in donating for the new roof. The depot houses a museum and library for use by the general public and is dedicated to preserving local history. The Whitley County Historical & Genealogical Society is a non-profit 501 (3) C organization and your donations are tax deductible. Pat Jones, Justeen Wilson and Brenda Meadors are shown holding the check from Community Trust Bank.
