Keavy man charged with breaking into Corbin home, stealing doughnuts

A Keavy man allegedly took doughnuts among other items when he broke into a Corbin home in late July.

Willie Cox is charged with second-degree burglary.

Williamsburg Police Officer Justin Taylor served Willie Dean Cox, 45, with a second-degree burglary warrant about 1:32 p.m. Saturday near US25W in Williamsburg, according to his arrest citation.

Corbin Police Officer Amanda Chitwood obtained the arrest warrant on Aug. 6.

It alleged that about 2:30 a.m. on July 30, that Cox unlawfully entered a residence at 1007 S. Kentucky Avenue, and took a box of presidential coins worth about $500, a box of doughnuts, a ring, a Timex watch and several non-narcotic medications, according to the arrest warrant.

He was lodged in the Whitley County Detention Center.
