Thomas “Ted” Richardson, 77, of Long Bottom Road, Williamsburg departed this life on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at his home.

He was born on March 15, 1941 in Williamsburg, to the late Theodore Roosevelt Richardson and Clara (Marsee) Richardson.

He was also preceded in death by his daughter Kay Sea; son-in-law, Donnie Sea; brother, Brad Richardson; sisters, Oma Sulfridge (Otto), Jewell Fore (Johnny) and Barbara Fore (LD) and brother-in-law, JC Tolliver.

Ted attended the Corn Creek Church of God and Pleasant Hill Church of God.
He is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie Jean Richardson of Williamsburg; two children, Rita Bernice Partin (Tim) of Williamsburg and Tommy Richardson (Deborah) of Rockholds; three grandchildren, Heather Partin, Shane Richardson and Bonnie Jean Blankenship; two great grandchildren, Kaylee and Casen Partin; several adopted grandchildren; two sisters, Janice Tolliver and Mamie Williford (Luster) of Williamsburg; brother, Danny Richardson (MaryAnn) of Williamsburg; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.

The funeral service was held Saturday, September 22, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Travis Baker, Rev. Bo Henson and Rev. Roger Meadors officiating.

Following the service today he was laid to rest in the Piney Grove Cemetery.
