Jerry Wayne Hollars, 69, of Fairview, went to be with the Lord on Saturday October 6, 2018 at the Jellico Community Hospital with his wife by his side.
Jerry worked at the Jellico Community Hospital in the Radiology Department for 21 years and was very dedicated to his job.
Jerry was a member of the Kentucky Hill Baptist Church. He served in the United States Marine Corp. and was a member of Jellico Masonic Lodge #527.
He is preceded in death by his infant son, Kevin Lynn Hollars and his parents, Rev. Paul and Reba Hollars.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, 4 weeks and 7 days, Linda Hensley Hollars; his beloved dogs, Nurse Sadie and Lucky; special friends, Eddie Archer, Mack Trammell, Charles Souder; his in-laws who were like family to him, and a host of other relatives and friends who will always remember him.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, October 9, at the Llewellyn Funeral Home Chapel in Jellico, TN with Rev. Floyd Hale and Rev. Wayne Barton officiating.
He will be laid to rest in the Jellico Cemetery at 11 a.m. on Wednesday October 10.
