David Daniel “Monk” Davis, 84, of Jellico, TN passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at his home.
He was born November 30, 1934 in Jellico, TN.
Monk was preceded in death by his parents, Bert and Daisy Lawson Davis; brother, Robert Phillip “Bob” Davis.
He is survived by wife, Erna Behl Davis; daughter, Monica Davis; sisters, Louise Walden and husband James, Wilma Hansen and husband Jerry, Dean Davis, Nancy Hutson, Patsy Widener; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn his passing.
The funeral was held Saturday, December 8 at the Harp Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Hatfield officiating.
Burial was held Sunday, December 9, in the Douglas Cemetery (Wooldridge Community).
Military honors were held by the American Legion Honor Guard Post 154 (Elk Valley).
