Mary Alice Logston Cureton, 71, of Verne Road, Williamsburg departed this life on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at Baptist Health in Corbin.

She was born on April 23, 1947 in Blue Ash, OH to the late William Logston Sr. and Mae (Smith) Logston.

In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Cureton. She was a graduate of Cumberland College Class of 1984.

She is survived by her children, Charles Robert Cureton (Dana) of Denham Springs, LA, David Mark Powers of Williamsburg, James Matthew Powers (Rebecca) of Williamsburg, Robert L. Cureton IV (Nicole Brunet) of Denham Springs, LA, Diane Alward (Rick) of Williamsburg and Samuel Wesley Cureton (Nicole Rose) of Gonzales, LA; 23 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; mother, Wanda Spencer Carman of Providence, KY; two brothers, William Logston (Betty) of Providence, and Bobby Logston of Cincinnati, OH; sister, Barbara Logston of Cincinnati, OH; and a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.

The funeral service was held Saturday, December 29, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Fred Cummings officiating.

Following the funeral there will be a private graveside service at the Smith Cemetery for the family.
