Martha “Darlene” Caldwell Miller, 55, of Andersonville, TN went to be with her Lord on Saturday, January 19, 2019 after a courageous battle against cancer.

She was born December 20, 1963. Darlene dearly loved her Lord, husband, family, church, friends and children (including the many that called her “Aunt Dar” and those who called her Mrs. Miller). Darlene had a true servant’s heart and lived her life as a beautiful example of Christ’s love. She truly cared for all those she crossed paths with. Darlene ministered to others through her service at church and by her passion for teaching. For over 20 years Darlene taught, mentored and loved students of the Anderson County and Clinton City Schools.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Caldwell.

She is survived by her husband Rev. Ricky Miller of Andersonville; sons, Christopher Walter Miller (wife Ashley) of Knoxville and Caleb Wade Miller (wife Shea) of Clinton, and love of her life, granddaughter Paisley Elle Miller; her mother, Bernice Caldwell Hatmaker and her brothers, Rodney Stooksbury (wife Virginia) of Andersonville and Rev. Mark Caldwell (wife Kim) of Loudon County and a host of extended family.

The funeral service was held at Edgemoor Baptist Church on Tuesday, January 22, at 2 p.m. with graveside services following at Norris Memorial Gardens, 2856 Norris Freeway Norris, Tennessee.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made in her memory to Edgemoor Baptist Church or to the Darlene Miller Literacy Fund at Clinton City Schools, 212 North Hicks Street Clinton, TN 37716.
