A three-vehicle crash Monday evening on US 25 in Laurel County sent three people, including two Corbin residents, to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
The crash happened about 9:35 p.m. approximately four miles south of London.
A blue Hyundai Sonata, which was driven by Hannah L. Brown, 20, of Corbin, was traveling north on US 25 when it crossed the centerline and struck a southbound blue Toyota Camry, which caused the Camry to spin around and come to rest in a ditch, according to a Laurel County Sheriff’s Department release.
The Hyundai Sonata then struck a southbound white Chrysler 200 series four-door in the front driver’s side. All three vehicles received major damage, according to the release.
Ambulance Inc. of Laurel County transported Brown, the driver of the Camry, Janice Kilker, 70, of Corbin, and the driver of the Chrysler 200 series, Logan W. Gentry, 18, of London, to St. Joseph Hospital in London, the release stated.
A pair of 17-year-old males, who were passengers in the Chrysler, were both reportedly uninjured.
Deputy Robert Reed is investigating the crash. Lily Volunteer Fire Department, London-Laure Rescue Squad, and Ambulance Inc. of Laurel County all assisted at the scene of the crash.
