Date:

With the Thanksgiving holiday quickly approaching, the Corbin High School Red Cross Club is hosting a Turkey Drive for the Cumberland River Behavioral Health (CRBH) and Capers Children Services families in Whitley, Laurel, Knox, Rockcastle, Jackson, Clay, Bell, and Harlan counties.

Food items or cash donations can be given to Corbin High School Red Cross Club members by Friday, Nov. 19 or dropped off at the Corbin High School football game Friday night.

Items needed for the drive include turkeys, canned vegetables, canned yams, stove top stuffing, instant potatoes, canned gravy, canned cranberry sauce, dinner rolls, and pies.

Cash donations will be used by CRBH to purchase these items.

Items will be sorted to make meals which will be delivered to families’ homes.
