Alvin Sharpe returns as Williamsburg Tourism Director

Williamsburg’s newest tourism director looks an awful lot like its last tourism director due in large part because it is the same person.

After a 40-year tenure, Alvin Sharpe first retired as Williamsburg Tourism Director in August 2020, but agreed in May 2021 to come back as acting director while the Williamsburg Tourism Commission searched for a new full-time director.
