Robert “Bob” Muse, age 73, of Jellico, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at the Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.
He was born December 29, 1949, in Elk Valley, Tennessee.
Bob is preceded in death by grandchildren, Sarah Muse, Anthony Jones, and Brittney Foust; father, Richard “Dick” Muse; mother, Adaline (Carson) Muse; brothers, Phillip, Raymond, Gene, Dickie “Duke” Muse and John L. Muse; sisters, Frankie Turner, and Betty Long.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Muse; children, Robert Muse and wife Julie, Michael Muse and wife Angie, Jason Muse and wife Jennifer, Jody Currier, Rebecca Muse, Stephen Muse and wife Samantha; grandchildren, Joseph Muse, McKayla Muse, Chasity Perkins and Aaron, Josh Halcomb, Austin Muse, Skyler Muse, Elizabeth Muse, Alyssa Muse, LeeAnn Currier and TJ Ayers, Jamie Hicks, Jaelyn Reynolds, and Nathan Muse; great-grandchildren, Aubree Muse, Cayden Perkins, Anthony Perkins, Thomas Ayers, Brayden England; brothers, Clyde Muse, Lynn “Whitey” Muse and wife Linda, Glenn “Blackie” Muse and wife Darlene; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn his passing.
Funeral service was Sunday April 16, at the Elk Fork Baptist Church with Rev. Junior Dople and Rev. Eddie Muse officiating.
Burial followed in the Valley View Cemetery in Pioneer, Tennessee.
Harp Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
