Celebrating our independence: Numerous area residents turned out in south Corbin Sunday evening for Corbin’s annual Independence Day celebration, which is always held on July 3 every year. The festivities started at 6:30 p.m. with the bands Ruthless Vendetta followed by Gravel Switch performing free concerts outside of The Arena prior to fireworks being set off shortly before 10 p.m.
