Several student athletes competed at the Kentucky High School Athletic Association’s State Wrestling Tournament hosted at the Kentucky Horse Park.
Three student athletes from Corbin High School and one student from Whitley County High School made the podium at the tournament.
Corbin Lady Redhound Avah Hammons earned the highest podium position of the local students with a 5th place finish in the girls’ tournament.
Whitley County Colonel Landon Bryant finished 6th in the heavyweight division.
BJ Jackson, from Corbin, took 7th place in the 138 weight class.
Josh Goins took the number eight spot on the podium in the heavyweight division.
