Alice Joyce Ward, 73, of Newcomb, TN passed away Thursday, April 18, 2019 at the Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.
She was born October 6, 1945 in Wooldridge, TN.
Joyce was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Joyce Ruth Ward; and parents, Lee and Susie Hays Daugherty.
She is survived by her husband, Benjamin Ward; son, David Ward & wife Betty; a grandchild, David Ward; two great grandchildren, David and Toby; a brother, Clarence Daugherty, and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn her passing.
The funeral was held Monday, April 22 at the Harp Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Ayers and Rev. Jim Roland officiating.
Burial was held Tuesday, April 23, in the Douglas Cemetery (Wooldridge Community).
Harp Funeral Home of Jellico in was charge of arrangements.
