Alyce Roberta Blankenship, 74, the wife of Paul Michael Blankenship of Adams Road, Corbin, passed away on Friday morning at the Baptist Health Hospital in Corbin.
By the request her family has chosen to honor her last wishes in that her remains will be donated to the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine for the advancement of education and science.
There will be a memorial service at a later date.
