American Legion Auxilary Post #88 donates food items to Restoration Ministries

Date:

U.S. war veteran’s organization, American Legion, has advocated on behalf of veterans and affected change throughout America since 1919.

Since American Legion posts are celebrating their 100 year centennial across the country this year, the American Legion Auxiliary Post #88 in Corbin has chosen to donate 100 food items to Restoration Ministries in celebration of this occasion.

Restoration Ministries, located at 420 Lily School Road in Lily, opened a New Day Cafe for free community meals every day. Many children and some are homeless are fed.

As part of our community, American Legion Auxilary Post #88 is proud to be able to assist Pastor Ronnie Smith in feeding needed meals and hope he will be able to continue in this worthwhile cause.
