April Lynn Marple

Date:

April Lynn Marple, age 51, of Williamsburg, Ky., passed away Thursday September 7, 2023 at her home.

She was born June 22, 1972 in Jellico, TN to the late Carl and Vivian Buhel Marple. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Marple.

April was the wonderful mother of her two children, Amber and Leon. Her children were her reason for living and she loved them with all of her heart. She also loved the Lord Jesus and was saved in May of last year. God done a complete work in her and her children. He redeemed what was lost and restored what was broken. She loved to worship Jesus and to go to church with her family.

April didn’t have an easy life but she had a heart as big as the ocean. She loved with all she had and was extremely passionate. She was so loved and will be missed by so many. We find peace in knowing that she’s with Jesus in complete and total freedom.

She is also survived by her dad, Ronnie Fox of Williamsburg, Ky; two sisters, Crystal Cooper (Jamie) of Nancy, Ky., and Sebrina Fox of Williamsburg, Ky; one brother, Carl Marple of Williamsburg, Ky; two nephews, Darrell White of Williamsburg, Ky., and Carl Marple; two nieces, Kaisley Henley of Williamsburg, Ky., and Sarah Marple; and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Funeral service will be 1:00 pm Tuesday, September 12, at Ellison Funeral Home with Pastor Brandon Hord officiating. Interment will be in the Douglas Cemetery at Oswego.

Visitation will be 11:00 am Tuesday, September 12 until the funeral hour at the funeral home.
