Archie Canada, 74, of Corbin passed away Thursday, March 23, 2017, at Baptist Health Corbin.

He was retired from Ford Motor Company.

Born August 10, 1942, he was the son of the late Herman and Goldie Canada.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Kenneth Canada and Arthur Canada.

He leaves behind his wife, Laveta Ellis Canada; two sons: Arthur Canada and wife Melinda of Corbin and Michael Canada and wife Amanda of Georgetown; daughter: Paige Montecillo and husband Elson of Cocoa, FL; 12 grandchildren and three great grandchildren; and sister, Arlean Messer and husband Dick of Corbin, as well as other relatives and numerous friends to mourn his passing.

The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. on Wednesday March 29 at Hart Funeral Home located at 1011 Master Street in Corbin.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 30, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jeffery Ellis officiating.

Burial will follow in Canada Town Cemetery.
