Baptist Health Corbin recognized for excellence in safety, quality, and patient experience

Baptist Health Corbin has been honored with the Baptist Health System’s prestigious Polka Dot Jersey recognition, which is awarded annually to one Baptist Health market that demonstrates outstanding improvements in safety, quality, and patient experience.

The Polka Dot Jersey serves as a visible symbol of the team’s dedication to advancing patient care and will be proudly displayed at Baptist Health Corbin throughout the coming year.

To celebrate this achievement, team members gathered for a recognition event featuring cookies and refreshments, taking time to honor the collective efforts that made this milestone possible.

“This recognition reflects the commitment of our providers, staff, and leadership to delivering safe, high-quality care and an exceptional experience for every patient who comes through our doors,” said Angelia Foster, President. “We are proud of this accomplishment and remain focused on continuing to raise the bar in healthcare for our community.”

The award is part of Baptist Health’s ongoing efforts to encourage systemwide collaboration, innovation, and excellence in patient care.

Baptist Health Corbin is a 273-bed, acute care facility providing a wide variety of healthcare services to residents of Whitley, Knox, Laurel, Bell, Clay, Harlan and McCreary counties in Kentucky and Campbell County in Tennessee.
