Ben JR McKiddy, age 68, of Williamsburg, Kentucky departed this life on May 4, 2024 at his home.
Ben was born on May 24, 1955 in Williamsburg, Kentucky to Ben McKiddy, Sr. and Virgie (Bennett) McKiddy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ben McKiddy, Sr. and Virgie (Bennett) McKiddy, and two brothers, Russell McKiddy and Harold Lloyd McKiddy.
Ben was owner and operator of McKiddy Auto Body and Repair, former Fire Chief of Patterson Creek VFD, currently worked at Redline Fire & Apparatus, and attended Yaden Worship Center.
Ben is survived by his children, Ben Michael McKiddy of Corbin, Nicholas Joe McKiddy (Crystal) of Williamsburg, Travis James McKiddy (Tonya) of Williamsburg, Chad Douglas McKiddy (Paige Harr) of Williamsburg, and Kristian Faith McKiddy (Dakota Blevins); grandchildren, Mariah Massengale, Ryan McKiddy, Charla McKiddy, Brittany McKiddy, Machaela McKiddy, Travis Zachary McKiddy, Maci McKiddy, Trenton McKiddy, Kannon McKiddy, Maverick McKiddy, and Kyson McKiddy; sister, Shirley Young (John) of Cincinnati, Ohio; brother, Eddie Wayne McKiddy of Bowling Green, Kentucky; several nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM Saturday, May 11, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral service will be a private family service on Sunday, May 12, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerome McCullah officiating.
He will be laid to rest in the McKiddy Family Cemetery.
