Betty Ann McVey Wilson, 73, of Corbin passed away Monday, January 14, 2019 at home.

She was born May 6, 1945 in Girdler, KY.

Betty was a member of Chapel Grove Baptist Church and the longtime owner and caretaker of the Terrell Cemetery in Wilton.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Wilson; daughter, Cleda Earlene Parks; parents, Daniel McVey and Cleda Hinkle McVey; and a brother, Randell McVey.

Betty is survived by her grandchildren, Shaunna Lynn Parks and Franklin Adam Parks; great grandchildren, Alexis Danielle Gray, Elizabeth Star Earlene Turner, and Isabella Parks; sisters, Danna Sue Durham and Mary Lynn Beverly; and by many other friends and family, including special niece Susanne Michelle Griffin.

The funeral service for Betty Ann Wilson was held Tuesday, January 22, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, 607 Master Street, Corbin, with Rev. Mark McVey officiating.

Burial followed in the Terrell Cemetery.
