Betty Jean Willhite, age 78, of Florence, Kentucky departed this life on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at the Boone Springs Nursing Home in Union, Kentucky. Betty was born on September 15, 1943 in Gatliff, Kentucky to the late John and Ellen (Croley) Siler. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Billy Eugene Willhite Sr. and son, Billy Eugene Willhite Jr.
She is survived by her two daughters, Michelle Willhite of Florence, Kentucky and Kimberly Willhite of Louisville, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Gregory Willhite of Florence, Kentucky, Ricky Elam of Georgetown, Kentucky, Tonya Elam of Walton, Kentucky and Emily Gomez (Steven) of Quantico, Virginia; four great-grandchildren, Daymen, Annabell, Austin and Emma Rose; two sisters, Helen Wilson and Donna Cox of Williamsburg; three brothers, Carl Siler, Eddie Siler of Cincinnati, Ohio and Frankie Siler of Berea, Kentucky; and a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until the funeral hour on Friday, September 24, 2021 at Croley Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Friday, September 24, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rick Croley officiating. Following the service she will be laid to rest in the Siler Cemetery at Verne.
