Betty Louise Parks

Betty Louise Parks, 77, of Danville, formerly of North Corbin, passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at the Ephraim McDowell Medical Center in Danville.

She was born in Pulaski County, and was a homemaker who loved gardening, cooking, and listening to Bluegrass Music.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas W. Parks; son, Thomas Parks, Jr.; parents, Harland Arthur and Alma Burdine Arthur; and by her siblings, Bernice Foley, Elvie Cable, James, Charles, Johnny, and Roger Arthur.

She is survived by her daughters, Vicky May and Debbie Parks; step son, Roger Parks; grandchildren, Ciara May and Logan Stringer; brothers, Bernard and Kenny Arthur; and by several nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral service for Betty Parks will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 13, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.

Burial will follow in the Corinth Cemetery with Ricky Cable, Randy Cable, Robbie Cable, Ray Cable, Roger Cable, and Terry Arthur serving as pall bearers.
