Beulah Meredith Bridges, 103, of Pioneer (Elk Valley), TN passed away Saturday, October 1, 2016 at her home.
She was born October 24, 1912 in Elk Valley, TN, and was a member and the last charter member of the Elk Valley First Baptist Church.
Beulah was preceded in death by her husband, Lowell Bridges; parents, Sam and Lizzie Lawson Meredith; brother, Alonzo Meredith; nephews, Ray Meredith and Charles Meredith.
She is survived by her children, Sam Bridges and wife Sherieva, Elizabeth “Sissy” Elmore and husband Pete, Jerry Bridges and wife Sandra; grandchildren, Michael Jay Elmore, Terry Lee Elmore, Alane Goad, Dewayne Bridges; great grandchildren, Naomi Elmore, Jonathan Elmore, Leeann Adkins, Adam Goad and Danielle Carson; great great grandchildren, Colton Lee and Abram Elmore, Natalie Grace Michaels, Ariel Adkins, Mellie Carson and Lindsay Carson; and a host of friends and family to mourn her passing
The funeral was held Tuesday, October 4, in the Harp Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Adam Hunley and Rev. Kenneth Ballard officiating.
Burial will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday, October 5, in the Valley View Cemetery (Elk Valley) Pioneer, Tennessee.
